Hi everyone welcome to E-mail Picks.
Here's a question for you. What kind of

internal communication tool does your
company use? Well my company uses an

online chat program called Chat-tack and
it's very useful. We can text each other,

we can send files to each other, and we
can have video conferences very easily.

But Chat-tack seems to be designed for
small groups and it's not the best tool

for communicating with five or more
people at once. And we're not a huge

company yet, but each department is
getting bigger and bigger and we're

starting to feel that Chat-tack may not
be the best - the most suitable tool for

us. But we can't complain because Chat-tack is a free software. So yesterday, I

started looking for a better internal
communication tool online. But you know,

we've become so used to using Chat-tack
now and we don't really want to switch

over to a completely new system and
learn a new user interface all over

again. So I checked out Chat-tack's
website and I found out that they

actually offer a different version for
corporate clients. But on their homepage,

all they really said was something like:
"please don't hesitate to contact us for

more information."
I couldn't find any information on

pricing. So I'm going to write an e-mail
to make an inquiry. That's what I want to

show you today. So here goes. Dear
customer support, Hello my name is

Kyota Ko, an employee of Bizmates Inc. We are currently using Chat-tack as an

internal communication tool. We have been very happy with the features and

functions your product offers, however as
our company

has grown significantly over the past
year, we are now looking for a more

efficient system for internal communication.
It says on your home page

that you offer Chat-tack tailored for
corporate clients. How can we learn

details and about pricing? We would
appreciate it if we could hear back by

the end of the week. Thank you. Kyota Ko
Bizmates, Inc.

So first, I explained who I am and our
company's current situation. and I wanted...

I wanted them to know that we were a
happy customer because we are very

thankful for Chat-tack. It makes our work
so much easier. Now the last paragraph is

the important part. I told them that I
was interested in knowing more about

their product and also I set an informal
deadline for the reply. I wrote "we would

appreciate it if we could hear back by
the end of the week." I'm setting a not-so-

strict expectation for when I want a
reply because this company is definitely

a foreign company. Well, time is less
important or more important depending on

the culture. So I shouldn't expect a
reply within the next day, like we would

normally do in Japanese business. So
that's my inquiry.
