Now, here's what I sometimes hear:
So let's imagine that there's a

and she speaks Japanese and English
and she's interpreting for for many people
for better communication.
And I say:
Taro, that interpreter is amazing.
Her Japanese is great, her English is great.
And Taro says:
She can switch from Japanese to English easily.
Okay. This sentence is OK. Of course she can
switch from Japanese to English easily.
That's her job. OK, right? But Taro wants to say
he wants to emphasize "easily" more.
You know, she does it so naturally, so
quickly, so easily.
So to give it more emphasis, we can say this
so I say:
You know, that interpreter is amazing.
And Taro says:
Yeah, she can switch from Japanese to English at will.
Very natural!
OK, so by saying "at will" it means she can
switch from Japanese to English anytime,
anywhere, immediately; easily.
