「捨てたよ。」と答える場合、あなたなら何と言いますか？
“I put into the garbage”「ゴミ箱にいれました。」と言うと
意味は通じますが、不自然に聞こえます。
そこで“I got rid of it” を使うと
「捨てたよ」というニュアンスになり、より自然に聞こえます。
PCのソフトを消去したときにも“I got rid of it”は使える便利なフレーズです。
