Point 83 ”scientifically proven”
“I read that happier people live longer.”「
“It’s true.”「
“It’s been scientifically proven.”「

video series. And today's word
is scientifically proven.
This is science. What does this mean? We
will find out.
But first let's do our test. So do you
remember last time?
Okay you look a little bit sick and I
say,
hey do you have a cold? Are you
okay? And you say,
not allergy or allergies.
That's right. Ah, no I have
hay fever. I hope you got that. Okay let's
go on to today's word.
Scientifically proven. Okay this is
science, okay.
Here's what I often hear. So let's
imagine
I read something in a magazine or on the
Internet
that I don't believe. Okay and I say,
I read this article that
happier people live longer.
happy people live longer. Isn't that
strange?
And Taro says
it is true. So what do you mean it's true?
It's not true.
Maybe you think it's true but it's not
true. Okay so this
it is true. It kind of sounds like an
opinion.
You know I believe it but maybe Taro
wants to say, no no no no Hika.
According to science and research
and data, it is true. Okay in that
case
we can say this. So I say,
I read that happier people live
longer.
Isn't that silly? And Taro say,
it's been scientifically proven.
It's been scientifically proven.
Ah really? I didn't know that.
And I will believe him, okay.
All right so let's look at pronunciation. Its
it's been scientifically
scientifically proven. It's been
scientifically proven.
You try.
Good okay with my sentence.
Yeah I read in the newspaper that happier
people
live longer. Really? I didn't know that.
Perfect okay for homework. Next time I'm
going to say,
you know I read that happier people live
longer. Isn't that silly?
And you say not it's true but it's
been scientifically proven.
Okay please remember that and we will
see you
next time. Thank you.
