初めは負担に思っていたことでも、続けているといつの間にか慣れてしまう、
平気になってしまうことってありますよね。
例えばあなたが残業で会社に残っているときに、帰り際の同僚から、
“You must be tired.” と、労いの言葉をかけられた際に、
「いつものことだからもう慣れたよ、平気だよ」と返答したい場合に、あなたならどう答えますか？
“No, I do everytime”.
「いつものこと」を “do everytime” と表現してこんな言い方をしてしまう方もいるかもしれませんが、
これでは意味がよくわかりません。
こういう時には、
“I’m used to it.” 「もう慣れたよ。」
と言うのが、とてもナチュラルな返しですね。
